EDF Energy required a website that would act as an umbrella for various public consultation sites. The portal site lists locations currently undergoing public consultation, supplies general information about EDF Energy, and provides users with links to information about the technologies they use and government regulations surrounding its activities.
The first website listed on EDF Energy's portal, Hinkley Point, has to fulfil the two-fold objective of informing the public and inviting feedback. Clean and simple interface designs along with an intuitive navigational structure ensure that visitors quickly find the information they need. Dynamic quick links panels are a creative use of space, make more information available on the page, and engage the user. Additional functionality includes an integrated CRM to facilitate online enquiries and questionnaires as well as our bespoke CMS, allowing EDF Energy to update the website quickly and easily. Aesthetically, the clean design presents what can sometimes be overwhelming information in an open and friendly way.
